My name Francisco Javier Pérez, I’m a professional composer, arranger, orchestrator, multi-instrumentalist and sound designer with more than a decade dedicated to create music and ambiances. My work has been present in renowned festivals such as the Clermont-Ferrand Shortfilm Festival, Annecy Animation Festival and Gamescom LATAM.

I’ve worked on projects such as:

• Bionic Bay: Plataformer game which has been well recieved by the press and public in which I made the full sound design and soundtrack. The game was nominated for best sound design at Gamescom LATAM 2024.
• El Festín de las Bestias: Animated shortfilm where I worked as the lead composer and as sound designer. It was selected on various international festivals included the 2024 edition of the animation festival of Annecy, France.
•  Mercedes-Benz Chile and Porsche Carrera Cup Chile: I made the music for various promotional content for both brands in Chile.

• Judicator: I worked as the main orchestrator and keyboard player for the last two albums of the US power metal band Judicator. “The Majesty of Decay” and “Concord”, this last one as an official member of the band
• Steelrage: I’m a guitar player on the Chilean power metal band Steelrage, which has more than 25 years of history, being one of the lead bands of the genre in the country
• Francisco Javier Pérez: I also released an instrumental solo album in 2023 called “Out of the Box”

On a more technical side, I’m skilled in Studio One, which I use as my main DAW and MakeMusic Finale to write parts. I also play the piano, electric guitar, drums and sing a bit. I have experience with orchestration and composing for different types of musical ensembles.

I have experience working with FMOD for audio implementation as well.
