The Phantom Touch is a short film created by Pablo Cuturrufo and Francisco Alvarez de la Rivera in the platform VR Chat. And it tells the story of a user with a bird avatar travels and explores the virtual platform.
Along the way, he talks with different people, who collectively unveil the conflicts and identity of a generation confused with their own existence.
The film has been presented in various festivals like Sanfic Festival in Santiago, Chile where it got an honorable mention from the judges, it won the Best Shortfilm Award in the FIDOCS festival, and it was part of the Lab Competition at the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival.
Francsico worked with producer Cristobal Guzmán on making the soundtrack for the animation.
